President Wayne Theile proudly presented Gordon Johnson with Life Membership to the Berri Golf Club last Saturday in front of a very appreciative crowd.
Johnno has dedicated himself to the club for many years and has been our resident mechanic in the greens keepers shed maintaining and repairing all of the club’s machinery. No doubt his tireless efforts have saved the club many thousands of dollars in mechanical costs which have allowed the club to fund other projects for its members.
Johnno has recently undergone eye surgery and no doubt will be back on the course more frequently as he will now be able to see his ball more clearly. Thank you, Johnno and well-deserved mate.
